Research & Analysis
Assessment of regulatory frameworks, existing rooftop solutions, and stakeholder needs to create a shared roadmap for rooftop innovation.
Digital Innovation
Establishment of services and a digital platform (Urban Food Platform) to support rooftop food production, including guidance, community building, and crop management tools.
Design & Prototyping
Development of new rooftop components including photovoltaic pergolas, green perimeter walls, and modular raised floors adaptable to various climates and structures.
Drone-Ready Rooftops
Feasibility studies and digital tools to assess the integration of rooftops into sustainable last-mile logistics using drones.
Digital Innovation
Creation of digital tools for microclimate simulation, rooftop co-design, social impact assessment, and 3D digital twins to visualize and manage rooftop environments.
Pilot Implementation
Real-world testing of aRTes technologies in southern mediterranean cities including physical installations and community engagement.
